Katherine Hudgins' Obituary
Talladega- Mrs. Katherine Hudgins, 76, of Talladega, passed away at her home Saturday September 1, 2018. The family will receive friends on Monday September 3, at Cherry Street Church of God from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Rev. Franklin Walters will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hudgins was Pentecostal by faith and was a member of Cherry Street Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mary Burgess Langley; sister, Blondell Walters; and brother, Charles Langley. Mrs. Hudgins is survived by her loving husband Gene Hudgins; sons, Randy (Valerie) Hudgins and Gary (Gina) Hudgins; daughter, Debra Hudgins-Lackey; brother, Billy Langley; sister, Sue Trawick; and grandchildren, Mallori Hudgins, Phalon Lackey, Khason Lackey, Nicolas Hudgins, Sarah Jones, Trent Hudgins, and Matthew Jones. Pallbearers will be Khason Lackey, Nicolas Hudgins, Barry Champion, Rodney Champion, Barry Taylor, and Tom Denton. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Katherine Hudgins requested contributions may be made to Cherry Street Church of God in her honor. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the services.
