Joseph "Joe" Lester Beard's Obituary
Munford- Joseph “Joe” Lester Beard, 68, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017. Visitation will be Sunday, November 5, 2017, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery at 2 p.m. Rev. Wayne Hester will officiate. Mr. Beard lived in Talladega County all his life and was the owner of Waldo Quick Stop. He is survived by his wife, Linda Vincent; son, Matt; daughters, Amy, Misty, Daphne (Chris), Christie, and Tracy; brother, Jimmy (Pat) Beard; sisters, Mary Alice Thrower, and Pat (Arthur) Singleton; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Beard was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Beard; mother, Celia Beard; and sister, Polly Roy. Pallbearers are Bruce Singleton, Brandon Singleton, Steve Hurst, Zach Gober, Chris Bullard, Gregory Chapman, and James Hardwick. Talladega Funeral Home will be directing the services.
