Mr. John "Pete" Singleton's Obituary
Muscadine-Mr. John “Pete” Singleton, 53, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Mr. Singleton was a member of IBEW Lineman Union. He loved Alabama football, ATV off roading, motorcycle riding, camping and traveling. He is preceded in death by his parents: John and Rebecca Singleton; 2 brothers: Bruce Wetuski, and Darryl Crump. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years: Jan Johnson Singleton; 1 stepson: Brandon Pope; 1 stepdaughter: Nikki Thomas (Brandon); 3 brothers: Tommy Wetuski (Kim), David Wetuski (Carol), Phil Camp; 1 sister: Lisa Williams (Larry); 3 grandchildren: Kasen Lynn Hallman, Drake Thomas, Elly Thomas, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 7:00pm-9:00pm in the Magnolia Room at Talladega Funeral Home . The service will be Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 3:00pm in the chapel at the funeral home with Rev. Jamey Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-3:00pm prior to the service. Pallbearers will be “Bubby” Hallman, Mathew Carlisle, Brandon Pope, Dawson Irvin, Jeremy Wetuski, and Tyler Cheatwood. Honorary pallbearers are IBEW employees. Burial will be at Wewoka Assembly Cemetery in Talladega. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
