Mr. John Rufus Faulkner's Obituary
Talladega-Mr. John Rufus Faulkner, 85, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Mr. Faulkner is preceded in death by his parents: Oscar, Sr. and Minnie Faulkner and all of his siblings. He is survived by his wife: Lelia Kaye Bates Faulkner; 3 step-daughters: Lisa Bates Love (John), Donna Bates Lashley (Larry), Shelia Bates Bingham and several nieces and nephews. The family will have a graveside service for Mr. Faulkner on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:30pm at Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Love and Caleb Love officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer’s or Dementia research. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
