Jimmy "Rat" Weathers' Obituary
Talladega-Jimmy “Rat” Weathers, 71, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22, at 12 p.m. at Talladega Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Rev. Charles Stone will officiate. Mr. Weathers loved his family and friends. “Rat” was an avid Alabama football fan and loved all sports. He enjoyed the time he served as an umpire for Little League. Mr. Weathers is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Bessie Weathers. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Brooks Weathers; sons, Kyle (Tammy) Weathers, of Oxford, AL, Patrick Weathers, of Lineville, and stepson, Rob (Lori) Davidson; daughters, Kelly Weathers Butcher, of Oxford, Kristi (Keith) Mitchell, of Talladega, and stepdaughter, Kimberlee Davidson; sisters, Betty Douglas, of Augusta, GA, Billie Faye Jones, of Alexander City, AL, Dorothy Ann Weathers, of Talladega; as well as ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Citizens Baptist Medical Center and Citizens Hospice Care. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the services.
