Mr. Jewel Anthony "Tony" Nowland's Obituary
Funeral Services for Jewel Anthony “Tony” Nowland, 61 of Alpine, will be Monday, December 15, 2014 at 2 PM at Talladega Church of Christ with Minister Ron Hurst officiating and burial following at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday at the church beginning at 12 PM. Tony passed away at his residence on Thursday Dec. 11.
Tony is survived by his brothers: James Ferrell Nowland, Frankie Bradford Nowland, and Cary Don Nowland; sisters: Linda Faye Nowland Putman, Vivian L. Nowland Brown, Linda Seals, Angela McBrier, and Kristy Milam; two aunts: Marie Keen and Helen Lackey; special friends: Lisa Beard and Stephanie Alverson; and a host of nieces and nephews. Tony was a friend to so many, and will be dearly missed by all he leaves behind.
Pallbearers will be nephews: Buster Brown, Randy Brown, Rusty Brown, Tommy Nowland, Stephen Beard, and Travis Tullock. Alternates: Zac McBrier, Josh Nowland, Michael Huffstutler, Joseph Rowe, and Jason McBrier.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his family to aid in expenses.
