Mr. Jerry D Jones' Obituary
Funeral Services for Mr. Jerry D. Jones, 53 of Talladega, will be Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 3 PM at Talladega Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Ryals officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. Jerry passed away Wednesday at UAB Medical Center.
Jerry, a lifelong resident of Talladega, owned and operated Jones Roofing and Construction, and was very well known in the community. He was also a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Talladega. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be dearly missed by all he leaves behind.
He is survived by his wife Sandy Jones; his daughter Ashley Jones; two sons: Ray and Brandon Boltwood; five grandchildren; his parents: Joe Jones and Ann McFall; two brothers: Terry Jones and Bill Jones; four sisters: Chandra Friedrich, Janet Worley, Janie McFall, and Jimmie Dixon; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Josh Tate, Adam Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Terry Dixon, Jim Worley, and Ray Boltwood. Honorary Pallbearers: Gary Phillips, Terry Jones, and Brandon McFall.
