James Karey Williams' Obituary
Mr. James Karey “Quickdraw” Williams, 78, passed away Thursday evening, February 8, 2018. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 10, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Talladega Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Sunday, February 11, 2018, in the Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Reverend Jerry Lackey will officiate. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Williams was a life-long citizen of Talladega and was a member of His Answer Ministry. He was retired from Talladega Pattern and Aluminum after 50 years of service; he also coached Little League and Farm League baseball for fifty years. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his mother and father, James and Viola Williams, and his son, Anthony Wayne Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Nora Williams; sons, Tony (Teresa) Williams, and Samson Williams; daughter, Sandra (Ricky) Perkins; grandchildren, Blake (Lauren) Williams, Justin (Leslie) Perkins, Kaleigh (Lance) Dew, Brittany (Matthew) Hardin, and Michelle (Jason) Knapp; great-great grandchildren, Raleigh, Kelton, Blakelyn, Chloe, Milee, Levi,
Hailey, Shelby, and Maggie. Pallbearers are Blake Williams, Justin Perkins, Lance Dew, Ricky Perkins, Matthew Hardin, and Jimbo Williams.
