James Edward Locker's Obituary
Talladega-James Edward Locker, 71, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Talladega Funeral Home, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Cherry Street Church of God. Rev. Franklin Walters will officiate. Musical arrangements by Minister of Music, Michelle Walters. Interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Locker was Pentecostal and attended Cherry Street Church of God. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ben C. and Flora Mae Locker, and brother, Jimmy Locker. Mr. Locker is survived by his son, Jason Edward Locker; daughters, Samantha Locker (David) Arnold and Amy L. Locker; brother, William Locker; sisters, Hattie “Rita” Fain and Betty Jean Locker Graffeo; and grandchildren, Cameron D. Smith, Gaberal Locker, Melanie L. Locker; Logan D. Locker, and Haleigh Brooke Arnold. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Randy Thornton and Andy Yarborough will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. The family would like to thank the doctors and staffs at Talladega Healthcare Center for his care, Northstar EMS for his transportation to and from Fresenius Kidney Care and Regional Medical Center. Talladega Funeral Home to direct the services.
