James Bice's Obituary
Funeral Services for Mr. James H. Bice, 79 of Talladega, will be Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 at 2 pm at Talladega Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Young and Rev. Clyde Pettus officiating. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday night from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Bice passed away Tuesday morning at UAB in Birmingham.
Mr. Bice, a veteran of the Korean War, is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mary Bice, and his sisters Lois Stephens and Willie Adams. He is survived by his wife Vivanay Bice, three daughters Brenda Bice-Smith (Jim), Sharon East (Woodie), and Karin Crabtree, stepson Mardy Cosby, his granddaughter Kassidy Crabtree, one step-grandson, four step great-grandchildren, and one brother Robert Bice.
The following men will serve as pallbearers: Danny Ryals, Danny Bice, Johnny Wayne Sims, Harold Webster, Edward Hendon, and Benny McComb. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the services.
In Leui of flowers, the family is requesting donations for Mrs. Bice.
