Mr. Hoyt Parker Jr.'s Obituary
Goodwater-Mr. Hoyt Parker Jr., 81, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Mr. Parker served in the United States Navy from 1962-1982. He was a Vietnam Vet and after retiring from the Navy was a social worker at Ft. McClellan. He loved to help his community, garden and watch birds. Mr. Parker is preceded in death by his parents: Hoyt Sr. and Elsie Parker; his wife: Hilda Parker. He is survived by his niece: Judy Long (Kenny); 2 nephews: Terry Britt (Mary), Johnny Britt. The family will have a graveside service on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 1:00pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Terry Britt officiating. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
