Helen Gilbert's Obituary
Funeral Services for Helen P. Gilbert, 86 of Talladega, will be Friday, May 17 at 1 pm at Talladega Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Moreland officiating. Burial will follow at Hepzibah Baptist Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at 11 am at the funeral home. Ms. Gilbert passed away Wednesday morning at Citizens BMC.
She is preceded in death by her husband Claxton Gilbert, her son Wayne Gilbert, and her daughter Marjorie Gilbert. She is survived by two daughters Shelia Griffin of Pell City and Rita Ferguson of Childersburg, sisters Rachel Price and Florence Hobbs of Beech Grove, IN, three brothers J.C. Proctor of Talladega, and Frank Proctor and Paul Proctor of Indianapolis, IN, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
The following men will serve as pallbearers: John Proctor, Roy Proctor, Barry McBurnett, Vance Proctor, Ray McBurnett, and Scotty Griffin.
Talladega Funeral Home will direct the services.
