Mr. Glenn A. Gaither, Sr.'s Obituary
Funeral Services for Mr. Glenn A. Gaither, 68 of Talladega, will be Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 2 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Bro. David McGowan and Dr. Clyde Pettus officiating and burial following. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 PM at Talladega Funeral Home. Mr. Gaither passed away Monday night at Brookwood Medical Center.
Mr. Gaither, a lifelong resident of Talladega, retired from the National Guard after 20 years of service to his country. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Katie Gaither, and his sister Maxine Shaw.
Mr. Gaither leaves behind his loving wife Janice R. Gaither; his sons: Glen A. Gaither, Jr. “Chip” (Sonia) and Brandon Gaither; his stepson Shawn Burns(Cecilia); his grandchildren Ashley Maddison Gaither, Cody Burns, Connor Burns; his brother Bryan Gaither (Janice M.); and a host of extended family and friends.
The following men will serve as pallbearers: Gerald Gaither, Pete Gaither, Randy Dobbs, Terry Britt, Harold Webster, Elmer Bell, and Jim Hazel.
