Mrs. Genell Lackey's Obituary
Munford-Mrs.Genell Lackey, 91, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024. Mrs. Lackey is preceded in death by her parents: John and Ada Lackey; all her siblings: John Lackey, Howard Lackey, Clyde Lackey, Velma East, Elsie Lackey, and Margie Lackey; her daughter-in-law: Cindy Moore; and 2 grandchildren. She is survived by 2 sons: Stanley Moore (Carol), Steve Moore; 2 daughters: Marsha Brewer (Ed), Connie Johnson (Donnie); 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Lackey enjoyed painting, baking, crocheting, and spending time with her family. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 12:00noon-1:00pm at Ironaton Church of Christ for visitation. The service will follow at the church at 1:00pm with Bro. Cliff Goodwin officiating. Interment will be at Ironaton Church of Christ cemetery with her grandsons Zach Reed, Nick Butler, Jerry Brewer, Johnathan Brewer, Jacob Hughston, Shane Wallace, serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Brewer, and Cam Hughston. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
