Mr. Ernest Douglas "Doug" Reid's Obituary
Pell City-Mr. Ernest Douglas “Doug” Reid, 74, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Mr. Reid was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his wife: Reba Gail Reid. He is survived by his son: Craig Reid; daughter: Tracy Oglesby; 3 sisters: Faye Bowman, Star Saly, Patricia Cotton (Buddy); 3 grandchildren: Blake Howell, Destiny Sayles, Christian Reid; and 1 great grandchild: Blaiklynn Howell. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Refuge Baptist Church for visitation. The service will follow at the Church at 2:00pm with Rev. Kenneth Howell officiating. Interment will be at Refuge Cemetery with Christian Reid, Blake Howell, Ken Reid, Keith Reid, Kevin Reid, Don Cotton, and Jerry Wayne Steinbrook serving as pallbearers. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
