Talladega-Mr. Edward Dwayne Hicks, 82, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025. Mr. Hicks loved watching western movies and his dog Miller. He retired from Boeing McDonald Douglas Manufacturing. He is preceded in death by his parents: Reed and Lorraine Hicks; his brother: William J. Hicks. He is survived by his niece: Gina Tucker; great nephew: Christopher Tucker; great niece: Christina Stark; great-great niece: Monroe Stark; 3 great-great nephews: Deegan Baker, Kai Baker, Sawyer Stark; 2 step nieces: Joyce James, Kathy Williams; step nephew: Earl James. A graveside service for Mr. Hicks will be on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 10:00am at Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery with Brenton Emmons officiating. Pallbearers will be Christopher Tucker, Brandon Ricks, Brenton Emmons, Karsen Pate, Kiptyn Pate, Korbin Pate. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
