Mr. Edward Lawrence Freeman's Obituary
Rock Hill, SC - Edward Lawrence Freeman, 66, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at his home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC with Dr. Tom Patterson officiating with Reverend Kenny Vinson assisting. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Graveside service will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park, Talladega, AL., on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 2:00 pm.
Born in Talladega, AL, Lawrence was the son of the late William E. Freeman and the late Ruby Strickland Freeman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ann Ledbetter Freeman; two brothers, Larry and Ray Freeman; his sister, Gay Hamby. He was a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church.
Lawrence is survived by his sons, Brandon Edward (Brittany) Freeman of Rock Hill, SC and Grant Edward (Abageal) Freeman of Odenville, AL; his grandson, Briggs Freeman; his granddaughters, Adylene, Ruby, and Briley Freeman.
