Talladega- Mr. Earl Alvis Mashburn, 91, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. He loved Alabama Football, “Roll Tide”, the Atlanta Braves, pumping gas, and working on cars. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Hamilton Mashburn; his parents, Alvis, and Christine Mashburn; both of his children, Michael, and Joe Mashburn; and his brothers, Bill, and Paul Mashburn. He is survived by 1 sister, Sue Alford (Farral); 3 grandchildren, Sara Ray; Marie Edmond (Davisson); Nicole Smith; and 5 great grandchildren, Jake Jass; Troy Ray; Nathan Ray; Ethan Edmond; and Isabella Smith. The family will accept friends on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 1:30PM-2:30PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation with the service following at 2:30PM in the Chapel with Rev. Marc Mashburn officiating. Pallbearers will be Jake Jass, Troy Ray, Nathan Ray, Duane Alford, Andrew Alford, and Dallas Robinson. Honorary Pallbearer, Cody Smallwood. Burial will be at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
