Douglas Lane Fincher's Obituary
Talladega-Douglas Lane Fincher, 72, of Talladega, Alabama passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020. Mr. Fincher was Baptist by faith. Doug was owner and operator of Fincher’s Catfish Kitchen for many years, where he started by fishing and expanding the business. He was an avid deer and turkey hunter. He was a member of the National Turkey Federation and enjoyed teaching others the skills of turkey hunting. He is survived by 1 son, Steve Fincher; 1 daughter, Wendy Lackey; 1 brother, Ronald “Huck” Fincher; 1 sister, Donna (Freddie) Jones; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sister in law, Pansy Fincher and extended family, Jon, Wanda and Anna Adams; Kayla and Jeremy Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Fincher; mother, Jennie Gambrell Fincher; 2 brothers, Wayne Fincher; P.D. Fincher. There will be a Graveside Memorial Service on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Hepzibah Baptist Church at 11:00AM with the Rev. Jon Adams officiating. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
