Dorthy Michelle Haney's Obituary
Munford- Dorthy Michelle “MyChelle” Haney, 31, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017. A Vigil is being held Wednesday night, November 22, at 5 p.m. on Turners Mill Rd. Visitation will be held at Talladega Funeral Home on Friday, November 24, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 25, at 1 p.m., in the Chapel. The Rev. Earl Sanders, and Pastor Phillip Jenkins will officiate. Interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Ms. Haney was Baptist by faith and attended First Freewill Baptist Church. She was also a member of the PTA for Munford Elementary. Ms. Haney was preceded in death by her father, Michael Hale; and grandparents, Grady and Mary Simpson, Charles Lee Champion, and Elmer Hale. She is survived by her mother, Amanda Simpson; companion, Luke Jennings; sons, Kevin Hale, Mark Jennings, Luke Jennings, and Jerry Jennings; step-daughters, Sydney Jennings, and Destyne Jennings; grandmother, Hildagarde Bowman; brother, T.J. Britton; sisters, Ann Hale, Nina Britton, Chelsea Green, and Amber Massa; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Kevin Goodwin, Michael Clifton, Jeremy Grimes, Nick Rice, Terrell Garrett, and Carl Hudson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward her funeral expenses. Talladega Funeral Home will be directing the services.
