Ms. Dorothy M. Franklin's Obituary
Funeral Services for Dorothy M. Franklin, 89 of Talladega, will be Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014 at 1 PM at Talladega Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Meads officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Eye Baptist Cemetery in Lincoln. Ms. Franklin passed away Saturday at Citizens BMC.
Ms. Franklin is preceded in death by her husband Marvin S. Franklin; 2 sons: Jerry Wayne Franklin and Ernest Dean Franklin; her daughter Dorothy Franklin; and granddaughter Teresa Franklin. She leaves behind 4 sons: David Franklin, Carlton Franklin, Larry Franklin, and James Edward Franklin; 2 daughters: Brenda Murphy and Linda Griffith; 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren, and 5 more on the way. Ms. Franklin was the greatest mother, and loved all her family dearly.
The following men will serve as pallbearers: Wayne Smith, Billy Smith, Jeromy Hodge, Scott Coley, Larry Melton, and Matt Dziorny.
