Talladega-Destyne “Desi” Jennings, 19, of Talladega, passed away on April 7, 2021. Desi loved working and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed swimming, tanning, all outdoor activities. She is preceded in death by her sister, Carly Ward; grandfather; Jerry Jennings and her special aunt, Gloria Lackey. She is survived by her mother, Christy Hudson; father, Luke Jennings; sister, Sydney Jennings Trussell (Marcus); 4 brothers, Takis Kappis; Marc Jennings; Luke Jennings Jr; Jerry Jennings; grandparents, Carl and Penny Hudson; grandmother, Linda Jennings; uncle, Wesley Hudson (Jessica); aunt, Jennifer Robinson (Mike) and cousins, Lillie and Allie Hudson; Jennica, Lindsey and Landon Robinson. The family will accept friends on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 6PM-8PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Earl Sanders and Bro. Marty Phillips officiating. Pallbearers will be Alex Whitten; Nick Rice; Kevin Hudson; Kiah Thrasher; Ben Gissendaner; Elliot Hudson. Honorary pallbearer, Brenten Whitten. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
