Birmingham-Mr. Dennis Earle Self, 85, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. He loved to play golf and also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Self is preceded in death by his parents: Jake and Annie Ruth Self; 4 brothers: Jackie, Roy, Billy Joe and John Self; 1 daughter: Rhonda Deaton. He is survived by his wife: Suzy Self; 1 son: David Self (Angel); 1 brother: Charles Self; son-in-law: Scott Deaton; 5 grandchildren: Joshua Deaton (January), Suzanna Deaton, Abby Evans (Tony), Logan Self, Cole Self and 3 great grandchildren. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
