Mrs. Deborah Phillips Gay's Obituary
Lincoln-Deborah Phillips Gay, 68, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Mrs. Gay was Christian by faith. She loved horses and animals especially her big black horse, “Buddy”, and “Tank”, her dog. She was loved by her husband, Kenny “Bubba” Gay more than life itself and will be missed by many, she was the love of his life. Mrs. Gay was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur, and Billie Sue Phillips. She is survived by her husband, Kenny Gay; 3 sons, Justin Gay; Austin Gay; Cody Green (Hailey); 2 daughters, Lindsey Henry (Dave); Leslie Day Mitchell (Lamar); 1 brother, Arthur Phillips III; and 7 grandchildren, Jude Mitchell; Celyn Henry; Zachary Henry; Nova Evans; Ryder Rainwater; Marty Green; and Major Green. The family will have a memorial service on Saturday, March 19, 2022, in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00PM with Rev. David Jones officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Foundation in memorial. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
