Munford-Mr. David Clarence Reaves, 61, passed away on Monday, April, 24, 2023. Mr. Reaves loved gardening and chicken farming. He is preceded in death by his parents: L.D. and Mildred Reaves; 1 son: Leonard Daniel Reaves; 1 sister: Mildred Elaine George; 5 brothers: Cecil, Leonard, Jack, Freddie, and Larry Reaves. He is survived by his wife: Mary Reaves; son: Lucas Fowler (Tara); daughter: Samantha Vines (David); brother: “Bubba” Reaves (Shannon); 4 sisters: Darlene Charles, Lura Phillips (Harold), Nancy Mitchell (Sydney), and April Anglin (Mark); 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The funeral service will be on Thursday, May, 11, 2023 at 1:00pm in the chapel at the funeral home with Pastor Shane Clark officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Reaves, Willis Mitchell, James George, Daniel Ashley, John Bates and Hugh Bob Lackey. Burial will be at the old Munford Cemetery on the Reaves family plot. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
