Mr. Danny Lee Wideman's Obituary
Talladega-Danny Lee Wideman, 59, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022. Mr. Wideman was a devoted husband and father and a proud grandfather, he loved his grandbabies. He was also a huge Alabama Fan, "Roll Tide". He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his parents: Joe and Sarah Wideman. He is survived by his wife: Daphne Denton Wideman; 2 daughters: Haley Johnson (Alex); Heather Wideman; 2 brothers: Billy Joe Wideman (Teresa); Steve Wideman (Misty); 1 sister: Diane Fitzpatrick; 3 grandchildren: Brooks Johnson; Tenley Johnson; Cooper Johnson; his mother and father-in-law: James and Glenda Denton and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, from 12:00Noon-1:00PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will follow at 1:00PM with Bro. John Monteith officiating. The following will serve as pallbearers: Jamie Smith; Dewayne “John” Roberson; Terry Isbell; Donny Langley; David Ferguson; and Jeff Ellison. Honorary pallbearers will be Talladega Creek Men's Sunday School Class. Burial will be at Pine Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Talladega Creek Baptist Church. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
