Mr. Danny Ray Morrison's Obituary
Talladega-Mr. Danny Ray Morrison, 70, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Mr. Morrison was a member and taught Sunday school at Central Baptist Church. He was a Master Mason with Talladega No. 261 of F&AM of the Grand Lodge of Alabama. He loved horses, cattle and ranch style life but he especially loved his grandchildren and family and the time spent with them. Mr. Morrison is preceded in death by his parents: Rex and Peggy Morrison; 1 brother: Billy Wayne Morrison. He is survived by his son: Justin Morrison (Laura); sister: Karen Morrison; 3 grandchildren: Kayla Howard (Colton), Texas Torres, and Gavin Morrison; 2 great grandchildren: Calvin Howard, Josie Howard. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will be on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 2:00pm at Central Baptist Church with Joey Peters and Pastor Ricky Clark officiating. The family will accept friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Greg Williams, Ty Sims, Gavin Morrison, Cody Hurst, David Morrison, and Shay Parish. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
