Corey Delon Phillips' Obituary
Graveside Services for Corey Delon Phillips, 24 of Oxford, will be Wednesday at 4 pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in Talladega. The family will receive friends beginning at 3 pm at Talladega Funeral Home. Corey passed away Sunday morning in Oxford.
Corey lived in Talladega during his younger years, and went to Oxford High School. He will be remembered by his friends and family as a loving, kind-hearted person and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father Delon Phillips of Pell City, and his grandparents Brenda and Donald Grogan of Talladega, and Louise Phillips of Pell City. He leaves behind his mother Melissa Grogan of New Mexico; his brothers Jessie Crumley of Talladega and Anthony Mendenhal of Florida; the love of his life and best friend Caitlin Starr Grizzard of Oxford; his grandparents Bill and Mary Phillips of Cullman; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who dearly loved him; and too many friends to name.
Cousins and close friends will serve as pallbearers.
