Mr. Codi Seth Hester's Obituary
Talladega-On October 10, 2024, Codi Seth Hester unexpectedly passed away. He was born on August 29, 1995, being only 29 years old. Codi was a lifelong resident of Talladega and was proud of his hometown. He is survived by his wife of 7 years: Christina Goodwin Hester; 2 daughters: Aubree and Sienna Hester; mother: Heather Love; 3 siblings: Gabe Hester, Logan Love, and McKinley Molsbee; grandparents: Carla Love Tinney, Johnny and Colette Ryals; handpicked grandparents: Raymond and Patricia Wyatt; In-laws: Eddie and Sheila Goodwin, Angel and Frank Reaves; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; 3 best friends: Aaron Blumenschein, Blake Williams, Taylor Garrett; special connection/cousin: Caleb Love; as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents: Betty and Huel Love. Codi was well known for his loyalty and sense of humor. He was a hard worker, employed by Be Squared, LLC. He dedicated his life to being a great husband, daddy, and good friend. He enjoyed Alabama football, Harley Davidson motorcycles, his truck, operating heavy machinery, playing his guitar and singing. He left a mark on the heart of every person he met. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 11:00am-1:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home chapel for visitation. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1:00pm with Bro. Jeff Rutledge officiating. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery with Blake Williams, Hunter Neal, Gabe Hester, Taylor Garrett, Aaron Blumenschein, and Frank Reaves serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Tristen Whitten, Cody Ford, and Jeremy Horton. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
