Mr. Clifford Junior Osburn's Obituary
Mr. Clifford Junior Osburn, 87, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Geraldine Osburn; 2 sons: Gregory Hughston, Ryan Hughston (Renea); daughter: Shunn McClellan (Jimmy); 7 grandchildren: Bliss Hubbard (Lance), Kendall Freeman (Jason), Cortney Seaman (Gabe), Makala Cook, Lake Hughston, Maranda Hicks, Raven Hawkins (Alex); 5 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and 1 sister: Mavis Brewer. He is preceded in death by his father: Bill Osburn; mother: Inez Osburn; brother: Steve Osburn; sister: Myra Martin; granddaughter: Charlee Tayt Hubbard. Mr. Osburn was a member of Bemiston Baptist Church. He was retired from Talladega Water and Sewer Dept. and Georgia Pacific. He enjoyed working outside in the yard and loved his daily phone call with his sister Mavis. He especially enjoyed his Thursdays with his granddaughter Lake also known as his tiny best friend. But most of all he simply loved spending time with the love of his life, Geraldine. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 2:00pm-3:00pm at Bemiston Baptist Church for visitation. The service will follow at the church at 3:00pm with Rev. Jerry Colquett officiating. Burial will be at Midway Memory Gardens with Lynn Hammett, Richard Johnson, Bert Haynes, Steve Wideman, Scott King, and Matt Peters serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Taylor, George Bishop, Lark Hare, Travis Ray, and Alan Nunn. The family would like to extend a special thank you to SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice for the exceptional care, compassion, and comfort they provided to both their loved one and the entire family. Cosby Funeral Home will direct the service.
