Mr. Clarence Edward Taylor's Obituary
Talladega-Clarence Edward Taylor, 73, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. He liked fishing, hunting, and loved his grandbabies and his great grandson Parker Rutledge. He is preceded in death by his father: Clarence Taylor; mother: Annie Louise Jones; and 2 brothers: Charles and David Taylor. He is survived by his wife: Maureen Taylor; 1 son: Mike Taylor (Christie); 1 daughter: Debby Wooten (Sidney); 3 brothers: Larry Taylor (Pamela); Richard Taylor (Kathy); and Gary Taylor (Connie); 3 granddaughters: Hannah Rutledge (Drew); Kaitlynn Stephens (Gregory); Shelby Taylor; and 1 great grandson: Parker Rutledge. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 9:30AM-10:30AM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The graveside service will follow at 11:00AM at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Gatch officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church. The following will serve as pallbearers: Jeff Watkins, Sidney Wooten, James Lasseter, Mark Taylor, Scott Spradlin, Mike Taylor, Gregory Stephens, and Drew Rutledge. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
