Clarence B. Freeman's Obituary
Talladega- Clarence B. Freeman, 91, passed away at his home September 10, 2018. The family will be receiving friends Saturday, September 15, at Talladega Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2018 in the Chapel. Rev. Wes Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Midway Memory Gardens. Mr. Freeman retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant and served during the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam Wars. After retirement, he began doing carpentry work and building homes. He is preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Mae Freeman; wife, Bobbie Freeman; daughter, Tina Waldrup; sisters, Naomi Herd and Peggy Caldwell; and brothers, Joe Freeman and Okel Freeman. Mr. Freeman is survived by his son, Greg Freeman; daughters, Marsha Phillips, Barbara (Larry) Wade, Lisa Haynes, Connie (Billy) Humphrey, Brenda (Leonard) Haynes, Toni (Richard) Greason, and Tracy (Tony) Phillips; brother, Len Freeman; as well as 35 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, and 26 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chris Haynes, Robert Cotton, Michael Humphrey, Kenneth Caldwell, Tim Caldwell, Shaun Cotton, Nathan Wade, and Shawn Humphrey. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, great grandsons, and nephews. Talladega Funeral will direct the services.
