Clarence Davis' Obituary
Funeral Services for Clarence D. Davis, 77 of Talladega, will be Sunday, Jan. 20 at 2 pm at Talladega Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Midway Memory Gardens. The family will be receiving friends beginning at 12 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Davis passed away Thursday at Talladega Healthcare.
Mr. Davis was retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years of service. He also retired from McDonalds in Talladega. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his sons Huey Eugene Davis and Robert Xaver Spurling, his daughter Christine Wilson, his mother Catherine Hyatt, and granddaughter April Harrell.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Doris B. Davis, daughters Judy Barber(Roland), Zelda Gunter (Lonnie), and Wilma Jean Mowery (Lavelle), his sisters Becky Watts (Bobby), Elayne Dean (Ronnie), and Robin Irvin (Ray), 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
