Ms. Christine McCann Willis' Obituary
Ms. Christine M. Willis, 86 of Talladega, will be Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 2 pm at Talladega Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Dial officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at 1 pm at the funeral home. Ms. Willis passed away Wednesday night at her residence.
Ms. Willis is preceded in death by her parents W.G. and Oma Lackey, her husband John Wesley McCann, Sr., brothers Carol and Maurice Lackey, and her sister Marlene L. Barnett. She is survived by her son John Wesley McCann, Jr. (Regina); her brother Horace Lackey; two nieces Lynn and Kim; and two nephews Jeff and Barry.
The following men will serve as pallbearers: Jeff Barnett, Joel Green, Joe Hudgins, Tim Dial, Zack Dial, and Malachi Dial. The family would also like to recognize Milton Cochran and New Beacon Hospice as honorary pallbearers.
