Mr. Charles E. Studdard's Obituary
A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Charles E. Studdard, 80 of Talladega, will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 1 PM at Talladega Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Dial officiating. A committal service will follow at Hepzibah Baptist Cemetery. Friends are welcome to begin arriving at 12 PM. Mr. Studdard passed away Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Studdard served in the National Guard for a number of years. He was employed by Rutledge TV for 25 years. After leaving Rutledge TV, he opened Studdard TV, where he continued repairing TVs for the people of Talladega until his retirement in the year 2000.
Mr. Studdard is preceded in death by his parents: Charlie Daniel and Alvie Mae Studdard, his sister Aline Freeman (James), and his brother James Studdard (Shirley). He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years Frances Studdard, his daughter Lynne Karczewski, his brothers Tommy Studdard (Kathleen) and Ray Studdard(Nettie), and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
