Brooklyn Rae Walker's Obituary
Lincoln-Brooklyn Rae Walker, 16, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Brooklyn was Baptist by faith and attended Stemley Baptist Church and Hope Family Worship Center. She enjoyed anything outdoors, hunting, fishing. She was a member of the Lincoln High School Band and Archery team. She loved her family, the lake and all of her babies. Brooklyn is preceded in death by her beloved great grandfather: Donald Walker; great grandmother: Elizabeth Campbell; great grandmother: Mae “Rose” Putman; great grandparents: Luke and Obedis Bolinger. She is survived by her parents: Jason and Susan Walker; grandparents: Jimmy and Sheila Campbell; grandparents: Michael and Faye Walker; great grandmother: Lois Nell Walker; aunt and uncle: Robert and Angela Harvell; aunt: April Walker; bonus sister: Kristen Sims; counsins: Tyler Harvell, Danette Harvell, Katie and Ryan Griffith, Starr Casey, Emily Casey and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will be Friday, May 12, 2023 at 2:00pm at Stemley Baptist Church with Bro. Carl Armstrong and Bro. Andy Thomas officiating. Pallbearers will be Dru Isbell, Jayden Macon, Brayden Fuller, John Bluhm, Spencer Bridges, Braiden Pirtle. Honorary pallbearers are the Lincoln High School Band and Archery Team. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
