Mrs. Bobbie Jean Atkisson's Obituary
Talladega-Bobbie Jean Atkisson, 88, of Talladega, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Mrs. Atkisson was a lifelong resident of Talladega and a member of Bemiston Baptist Church. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to garden and going to yard sales and thrift stores. She was a member of the Renfroe Homemakers Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carson Atkisson. She is survived by her son, David Martin; daughter, Rebecca Snider (Rick); sister, Rebecca Hodges; 3 grandchildren, Justin Martin; Shannon Calhoun (J.B.); Johnathan Morris (Brittany) and 4 great grandchildren, Carson Calhoun; Kason Morris; Logan Morris; Hunter Morris. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 12:00PM-1:30PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel with a Graveside service to follow at 2:00PM at Hepzibah Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Burke officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
