Mrs. Betty L. Monroe's Obituary
Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty L. Monroe, 78 of Talladega, will be Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 4 PM at Talladega Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 2 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Monroe passed away Friday afternoon at Talladega Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Monroe was a member of Oxford CH Church. She was a loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed by all she leaves behind. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Jewell H. Monroe; her parents, Carson and Lue Alma Tinsley; her sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Bobby Conner; and her brother-in-law, Robert Jones. She is survived by her children: Tommy Monroe (Jewell A.) and Kathy Carden (Andy); grandchildren: April Monroe, Amy Monroe, Meleah Carden and Mikayla Carden; great grandchildren: Jakobe Tate and Aiden Pope; sisters: Dorothy Wesley (James) and Nellie Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
