Ms. Bertha J Smith's Obituary
Funeral Services for Ms. Bertha J. Smith, 81 of Talladega, will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 2 PM at Talladega Funeral Home with Bro. George Sewell officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 to 8 PM. at the funeral home. Ms. Smith passed away Saturday, Dec. 19 at Citizens Baptist Medical Center.
Ms. Smith was a member of Taylor’s Grove Congregational Holiness Church. She Loved her church, enjoyed watching preachers and singing on TV, and loved sharing God’s love with everyone. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and will be dearly missed by all she leaves behind.
Ms. Smith is preceded in death by her loving husband Bobby Smith, her parents: Henry L. and Jessie Jones, her daughter Mary Jean Brawner, her brother: Johnny Jones, and two sisters: Ann and Helen Jones.
She leaves behind her 3 sons: Dewayne Smith, Vic Smith (Diane), and Raymond Brawner; two daughters: Anita Hurst and Barbara Moncus; brothers: Billy Earl Jones, Jake Jones, Joseph Jones, and Aubrey Jones; sisters: Louise Smith, Ruth New, and Betty Hamilton; 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be BJ Jones, TJ Howell, Tony Wallace, Jimmy Wallace, Dustin Smith, and Joey Hutto.
