Mrs. Annie Sue Simons' Obituary
Talladega- In celebration of Annie Sue Simons, a remarkable woman whose journey through life was nothing short of extraordinary. Annie Sue, born in April 1932, graced us with her presence until August 2023, when she peacefully passed away due to health complications from lifelong orthopedic challenges.
We bid farewell to this sophisticated and artistic soul, we remember the legacy she leaves behind and the profound impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her. Annie Sue was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, survived by her adoring children: Leigh Fincher ; Thomas Harold Fincher Jr.; Stacy Teague Fincher ; William Art Fincher, and; Greer Denny. Sisters, Billie Shahid and Nancy Reese. Preceded in death by her sisters Betty Jo Teague and Charlotte Warhurst. She leaves behind a family that cherishes her dearly, a testament to the love and devotion she bestowed upon them throughout her life.
Strength and courage were woven into the fabric of Annie Sue's being, as she faced life's challenges with unwavering determination. Her intellect and love for gardening and fine arts were reflections of her passionate spirit and creative soul. Whether she was tending to her beloved flowers or crafting masterpieces on canvas, Annie Sue's artistic talents left an indelible mark on the world around her.
But it wasn't just her artistic prowess that endeared her to so many; it was her wicked sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest days. Annie Sue's laughter was contagious, and her wit brought joy to all who had the pleasure of sharing in her company.
