Mrs. Annie Lee Harrington Taylor Pennington's Obituary
Talladega-Mrs. Annie Lee Harrington Taylor Pennington, 94, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Mrs. Pennington was Baptist by faith and a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church. Her passions were sewing, cooking and working in the Church. Mrs. Pennington is preceded in death by her first husband: Jesse Wood; 2nd husband: L.D. Pennington; and 1 son: Jessie Louis Taylor. She is survived by her son: Edward Taylor; daughter: Nettie Goodwin (Roger); bonus daughter: Jean Taylor; bonus son: Adam Pennington (Cindy); 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 5:30pm-8:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. Mrs. Pennington will Lie In State on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 12:00noon-1:00pm at Hepzibah Baptist Church. The service will follow at the church at 1:00pm with Dr. Randy Hagan, Pastor Justin Milliken and Pastor Barry Long officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery with Pastor Jason Watkins officiating graveside rites. Pallbearers will be Brian Taylor, Aidan Taylor, Michael Moxley, Tyler Mitchell, Mike Petrey, and Mike Pixley. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
