Ann S. Wright's Obituary
Lincoln- Ms. Ann S. Wright, 62, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at her residence in Lincoln, AL. There will be a Memorial Service to celebrate Ann’s life on Sunday, August 13, 2017, at 4:00pm at Eureka United Methodist Church, 962 Eureka Road, Lincoln, AL, 35096. Please feel free to attend and help those that loved her celebrate her life. Ann was a beautiful person, inside as well as out. She was generous to a fault but never spoke of her generosity to others but quietly gave of herself and her blessings to anyone that she came across that may need help. Ann was a wonderful friend and loved her nieces and nephews to a fault! Jacey, Harleigh and Jaxton were the most precious gifts that she had and her love of these precious children as well as her love of her nephew, Joseph, were well known. Ann will be missed by all who knew her. She graduated from Birmingham Southern College with several degrees. She is survived by her brothers, Leldon “Don” and wife, Diane Shankles, and Johnny Shankles; nephews Eric Shankles, and Joseph and wife, Brook Shankles; niece, Mandy Shankles; great nephew, Jaxton Shankles; and great nieces, Jacey Shankles and Harleigh Morgan; and friend, Sharon Burton. Ms. Wright is preceded in death by her parents Maurice “Bud” and Beatrice Shankles. Arrangements made by Talladega Funeral Home.
