Talladega-Ms. Angela Kristen Owens, 51, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Ms. Owens is preceded in death by her father: Joel Marler; paternal grandparents: Joe and Laveral Marler; maternal grandmother: Louise B. Thorne; 1 uncle: Phillip Marler. She is survived by her mother and step father: Patricia and David Talley; son: Todd Owens (Amy); 2 uncles: Robert Marler (Joy), Jim Thorne (Bea); 1 aunt: Gail Marler; nephew: Kendal Thorne; step-brother: Michael Talley (Angela). The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 9:00am-10:00am in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will follow at 10:00am in the chapel with Rev. Kory Burrell officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Todd Owens, David Talley, Andrew Stanfield, Jim Thorne, Matthew Marler, and Kendall Thorne. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
