Allen Lane Thrower's Obituary
Mr. Allen Lane Thrower, 66, of Talladega, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017. Family will receive visitors from 4pm to 6pm, Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Talladega Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will follow at 6pm in the Chapel with Rev. Carl Armstrong officiating. Mr. Thrower was a native of Talladega and an employee of Mercedes Benz. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Stemley Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Thrower; mother, Mary Thrower, of Talladega; daughters: Candice (Chris) Hill of Pell City; Pamela (Jamie) Sharkey of San Antonio, TX; and Debra “Abby” Thrower of Montevallo; Godson, Tra Brown of Montevallo; brothers: Grady Thrower and Alvin Thrower, both of Talladega; and Sam Thrower of Jasper, AL; sister, Katie Nabors, of Talladega; grandchildren: Elizabeth and Nathan Weigle, and Kayla and Nicholas Sharkey. Mr. Thrower was preceded in death by his father, Allen W. Thrower and brother, Paul Thrower. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Talladega Funeral Home will be directing the services.
