Ms. Aline T. Bates' Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Aline T. Bates, 86, of Talladega, will be 2:00pm, Friday, April 10, 2015 at West End Church of God with Rev. Ottis Graves officiating with burial following at Midway Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Thursday at Talladega Funeral Home. Mrs. Bates died Tuesday at Citizens Baptist Medical Center.
Mrs. Bates is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Bates, Jr. and a daughter, Billie Faye Heath.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia B. Waldrup and Cathy Bates Spurling (Tony); a son, Chuck Sellers; an aunt, Mozelle Johnson; three sisters, Mildred Mullins, Mittie Johnson, and Lucille Simpson; ten grandchildren, Mike Waldrup, Hope Hurst, Thomas Hurst, B.J. Waldrup, Michelle Harrison, January Hazelwood, Brandon Waldrup, Christian Waldrup, Zachary Hurst, and Samantha Brown; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
