Ms. Bertie Wheeler was the Best Mother ever. She was a seamstress who could take a rag and make it into a beautiful dress or shirt. She was a beautiful singer, and she taught her children so many songs. She was a storyteller- And oh yes- She was a teacher. She taught Speech, Responsibilities, Respect, Good Morals, Love, Forgiveness, Peace-Keeping, and Compassion. And she is still teaching- through her children and grandchildren. We are so blessed to have had her for our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, or Friend. We thank God for Bertie Wheeler.
